Desert Island

February 19th, 2007

I’ve never liked the idea of the “Desert Island Discs” question. It always seemed too silly and hypothetical for me.

Well, something changed inside me this evening. I was listening to Bill Frisell’s “Have A Little Faith” album, and thought about how much I loved this album. For the first time, I realized the ultimate torture of living the rest of my life on a desert island without being able to hear such wonderful music.

i love these sorts of questions, both answering them and seeing what other people pick. it often gives me good ideas of things i should be listening to but haven’t been. (that wasn’t grammatical at all but i’m not caring right now.) you’re making me want to start another forum topic…
