Again, not the most productive week ever. My fall teaching schedule has me a little busier than I expected.
To take things up a notch, I purchased a copy of Sibelius to help with organizing my fledgling compositions. We’ll see how that works out this week, it’s due to arrive on Monday.
My playing is coming back into it’s own. My hand is recooperating nicely and it’s picking up some speed & control that I lost. My spread-voiced triads are becoming part of my everyday vocabulary, and Tim gave me a great idea for arpeggios that will probably keep me busy for a couple months. I’m getting excited about playing and composing; just no ideas yet.
