I was kind of running in place this week.  I was doing stuff, but not really accomplishing anything.  I’m still stuck with my first tune, so I’ve decided to move on and come back to it later.

I took a couple of old tunes out and dusted them off a bit.  I have a lot of music that I haven’t done anything with.  I’m not sure if I’m going to incorporate them into this project, or if I want the whole project to be totally new music.  Well actually, I do want it to be all new music, but it would be so much easier if I used some old tunes.
I had some ideas for arrangements, possible duets, possible genre switches, etc.  Too many ideas if you ask me.  I thought the project declaration and it’s impending deadline would focus me, but it seems like it’s too much of blank canvas right now.  And the truth is, I’m not sure what I should I do different this week.  I guess we’ll just have to wait & see…
