Guitar Lessons & …

Blog in Flux

My whole web re-design project is not really running as smoothly as expected. I developed a computer related injury that has me in queue to see a Neurologist who can help me understand why my arm is going numb. Don't worry, it sounds worse than it is. I can still play guitar, but I can't use the computer that much. In fact, it's a great relief that I can still play guitar. My numbness (or tingling sensations, more accurately) severely handicapped me from playing guitar a couple days in May. With only weeks before my wedding season was about start, I recognized that I had to make a change. I think the problem was the way I was reaching and using the mouse. Working on my posture and bringing the mouse closer to me has helped considerably. But the real thing that guarantees a pain-free arm is avoiding the computer all together, or limiting my use to 5-10 minute increminets.

So, because of my injury, my re-design project has taken a backseat to getting better and strengthening myself. Until then, I'm going to make some nice, light updates to this blog.

When this blog is ready to be moved over to my site, I will back-post entries from my old blog into this blog.  My practice blog will be still be kept seperate.
